Come see ship models of tugboats and a variety of related craft including towboats, pushboats, fireboats, and barges. Tugboats are one of the most popular type of ship model and many types will be represented at this show, with tugboats from the 1860s to the present. This show is organized by the Mystic Seaport Ship Modelers (MSSM), a special interest group of Museum members, volunteers, and staff. Members of the MSSM will be present to answer questions and chat with visitors throughout the duration of the show. The Watercraft Hall will be open from 1:00-3:00pm on Saturday and Sunday.
